Thrown beer cans, broken ribs, sexual assault and verbal heckling were just some of the allegations that members of the University of Iowa marching band reported to authorities after last Fall's Iowa vs. Iowa State (CyHawk) football game.

Officials have spent months investigating the claims after the September 14 game  At this time, it's been concluded there is not enough evidence available to file any charges.

State of Iowa Board of Regents President Mike Richards made a statement saying that the University of Iowa President Bruce Harreld, as well as Iowa State University President Wendy Wintersteen, met with regent leadership, counsel and police chiefs about the allegations.

It was concluded that no charges would be pursued but all three regent presidents have begun collaborating on efforts to "improve game management policies for games on each of our campuses prior to the start of the fall 2020 semester", according to the Gazette.
