Oelwein West Side Hit by Burglars

Oelwein Police are investigating two burglaries that happened Thursday (Dec. 3) on the west side of Oelwein.

Police received the first report at just before 10am Thursday. The break-in happened in the 400 block of 13th Avenue NW.

Just before 1pm Thursday, authorities were informed of another burglary in the 100 block of 7th Street SW.

No other details were released, and both incidents remain under investigation.
