One Injured In Cedar Falls Shooting

Cedar Falls public safety officials are investigating a shooting that injured one person.

The incident occurred around 10:15 PM Wednesday in the 2400 block of Olive Street, near the University of Northern Iowa campus.

The male victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment, but the extent of his injuries and other details about the shooting were not released. Officials said they believe the shooting was an isolated incident and there is no threat to general public.
