Investigators discovered drugs and weapons after raids in and around the Cedar Valley in October. The results: police seized 82 pound of methamphetamine, 10 pounds of marijuana, 1.5 pounds of heroin, $28,000 in cash and two guns. KCRG reports the bust occurred in Jefferson, Waterloo and Van Horne after seven search warrants were issued. The searches occurred on October 30, but investigators today shared what they discovered.

The Tri-County Drug Enforcement Task Force, the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation teamed-up on the case along with other drug agencies across Iowa. There have been no arrests made at this time.
