UPDATE on Possible Severe Weather Tuesday Afternoon

At 12:32pm, the National Weather Service in Des Moines updated the potential for severe weather:

The severe threat for this afternoon has shifted east this afternoon. Some redevelopment is possible here along the cold front, but the real focus for any severe activity will be focused over eastern and southeastern Iowa.
