What do you when you want to make some money off an old job you have where you had a little bit of notoriety? Why sell assorted junk on eBay, of course!

Now that he’s no longer mayor of Toronto, Rob Ford is doing just that.

“I have a whole bunch of collectibles from over the years, and I’ve decided to put them to some good,“ Ford tweeted on Friday. “I will be putting select items up for sale on eBay, with 10 percent of proceeds going to Liposarcoma research and care facilities.“ (In September, Ford was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive type of liposarcoma cancer in his abdomen.) The first item up for bid is a map from 1990 illustrating Toronto’s ports. As of Monday morning, the top bid was $830.

A Ford assistant refused to publicly state where the other 90 percent of the money made in the auctions will go. Thinking about the possibilities will be fun.
