Several northeast Iowa school districts are delaying the start of classes today, due to winter weather.

Many roads across the region are slick, following the latest round of snow.

Below is the list of school announcements for Friday, Jan. 24, 2020.


BCLUW: Delayed 2 hours

Bosco Catholic System: Delayed 2 hours; No Waterloo busses

Center Point-Urbana: Delayed 2 hours

Dunkerton: Delayed 2 hours

Eastern Allamakee: Delayed 2 hours

East Buchanan: Delayed 2 hours

Edgewood-Colesburg: Delayed 2 hours

Independence (including St. John's): Delayed 2 hours; No morning preschool or practices

Iowa Falls-Alden: Buses on hard surface roads only

Jesup (including St. Athanasius): Delayed 2 hours; No morning preschool

Kirkwood Community College: All locations opening at 10 AM

MFL-Mar-Mac: Delayed 2 hours

North Tama: Delayed 2 hours; Buses resuming regular morning and afternoon routes

Union Community: Delayed 2 hours

Vinton-Shellsburg: Delayed 2 hours; Buses on hard surface routes only

West Central: Delayed 2 hours

West Delaware (including St. Mary's): Delayed 2 hours
