School Bus Driver Arrested For Assaulting Student
Authorities are investigating an incident in which a Northeast Iowa school bus driver is accused of assaulting a student.
The alleged assault took place on September 27th, in rural Butler County, south of Shell Rock. The driver of the Waverly/Shell Rock school bus, identified as 36-year-old Travis Neve of Allison, reportedly assaulted an 11-year-old boy who was riding the bus.
A security camera on the bus apparently caught a portion of the incident, when Neve lifted the boy into the air.
Neve was arrested last week on a charge of simple assault.
