A woman escaped injury in a holiday weekend accident near West Union.

Both crashes happened Monday.

The fatal accident occurred on a farm near Clermont. The other accident happened on a highway north of Waterloo.

One accident happened Wednesday morning near Center Point. The other occurred early Tuesday near Oelwein.

The victim's body was discovered late Saturday night, about four hours after several people were injured in an accident south of Waterloo.

Also Monday, an accident in Cedar Falls trapped a woman and four dogs in the cab of an overturned semi.

Also Thursday, an Iowa State trooper was injured in a separate northeast Iowa accident.
