#TheShoe Replaces #TheDress As Latest Viral Debate

Oh boy. Here we go again, social media.

Remember when everybody and their mother was arguing over #TheDress was white and gold or blue and black?

The sequel is here. The latest optical illusion to sweep Twitter, which has been dubbed #TheShoe, is a photo of two bottles of nail polish (pink and purple) next to a pinkish-purple shoe. Twitter user @totallymendes shared the image with a question.

Thousands have since re-tweeted the post and given their take. Many have asked if it would be possible to blend both colors of nail polish together, while others referenced #TheDress and complained “OMG NOT AGAIN.“

By the way, the correct answer is the bottle on the right.
