Boy Band premieres at the end of the month, and the show continues to cast big names in the music industry. In May, Emma Bunton (Spice Girls) and Nick Carter (Backstreet Boys) signed on as "architects" to judge/mentor Boy Band participants, and now Timbaland is joining their ranks.

The Grammy Award-winner and producer tells Variety, “I’m excited to be a part of this show and come on as an architect to help guide the next generation of undiscovered talent. I want to continue giving back to music as I have been. I’m ready to find the next boy band that could change our business.”

During Boy Band, hosted by Rita Ora, thousands of performers compete for the chance to win a recording contract with Hollywood Records. Initially, they strive for placement in just 18 spots available among three bands. As the series continues, participants are eliminated through fan-based voting, while those who remain rotate places in the different bands. Eventually, five winners will be chosen to form a band.

Tune in to ABC on June 22 to see Boy Band's premiere.
