Is your Facebook newsfeed cluttered with posts you don’t care about from people you don’t remember? Are you sick of seeing someone’s selfies, baby photos and political rants?

We get it. Obama sucks. I get it, I should wake up today and kick some ass. Yep, you look good in that selfie.

Today is the perfect holiday for you. Founded by comedian Jimmy Kimmel, National Unfriend Day is every November 17, and it presents a judgment-free opportunity for you to ditch the strangers, casual acquaintances and frenemies that you follow on social media.

It also serves as a reminder that when it comes to friends, quality is far more important than quantity.

Do I use this occasion to extort compliments from my Facebook friends? Like I said on the air "if you want to ride the bus you got to pay the fare!"

Maybe I am part of the problem. Or maybe I am an entertainer. Or maybe other than some really close friends I use my Facebook to network with fellow radio peeps.
