Waterloo police have identified the victim in a weekend homicide.

According to authorities, 31-year-old Terrell Flowers of Waterloo arrived at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital Friday night in a private vehicle seeking treatment for gunshot wounds. Police said Flowers died at the hospital a short time after he arrived there.

Investigators have determined the shooting occurred in the 300 block of Crescent Place. They're treating the case as a homicide, which remains under investigation.

Police are awaiting the results of an autopsy performed by the State Medical Examiner's Office.

No arrests have been announced in Flowers' death.
