[VIDEO] Chef Creates Gingerbread Wrigley Replica

What a tasty tribute!

A Chicago-area chef has built a giant gingerbread replica of Wrigley Field in honor of the World Series Champion Chicago Cubs (it still feels weird saying that).

Rockford-based Chef Gerald Madero told WGN-TV that he and his team spent 70 hours to put together the replica, which weighs more than 400 pounds and is almost completely edible--the seats are made of crackers, the scoreboard of edible paper, and Chef Madero used gelatin for the windows.

The stadium is on display at Forest Hills Country Club in Rockford as part of its holiday brunch. It's a great way to continue a Christmastime tradition as well as show respect to the team.

This makes that World Series win even sweeter! All that's missing is a "W" flag!
