It's times like these that a little creativity goes a long way... especially to bring a little joy and put a smile on people's faces. Well, Friendship Village in Waterloo is getting very creative these next couple weeks.

Friendship Village in Waterloo is a retirement community that is focusing on the health of their older patients, especially during this time of quarantine. Since they won't allow visitors to visit the families in the community the staff have decided to get creative in putting smiles on their residents faces.

According to KWWL, the staff recently brought in a dancing chicken to brighten the spirits of the community. It brought some laughter and smiles to the residents and the staff at Friendship Village isn't stopping there. There will be more fun and creative events to come in the future to keep people positive during this pandemic. Shout out to Friendship Village for continuing to put smiles on their residents faces!
