Who will be the next big pop star? I had a buddy ask me this question last week while visiting friends back in my old hometown.

I told him I really like Iggy Azalea! Even though a radio dj I never really studied much about her. After I got back in town after the memorial day holiday I kept seeing thing after thing about her on my Facebook news feed.

First was a study done by time magazine asking for readers to vote for song of the summer and her song Fancy ran away with it.

Next was going to Youtube and seeing her hit Fancy had almost 60 million views since March. That's unheard of. She has a song with Areana Grande also and it was released just this month and has almost 25 million youtube hits as well.

She sounds like none other in the pop world right now, "a mix between Gwen Stefani and Fergie," topped with her sex appeal which is important for image purposes, she is definitely a dual threat in the pop music world.
