The weather was 25 degrees at kickoff. And I have a big mouth. The NFC North division championship was up for grabs. Thanks to McHugh Events, I'm really glad we could provide this trip for everyone that came with me!

There were 49 other people on the bus, most of them hearing about the Green Bay-Minnesota trip from one of the Waterloo Broadcasting radio stations. Some were already on the bus from Cedar Rapids, and we all make the trek starting on Saturday morning.

Because the game was a night game Sunday, the bus got back into Waterloo just after 6am Monday morning.

I brought movies and provided entertainment and helped guide people along the way, and there were many nice people traveling with me (Packers and Vikings fans).

The guy sitting behind me at the game was nice too, especially when he calmly told me he was a Marine and could kill me anytime he wanted to. Don't they teach a Marine if you have the shot you take it? Underachiever.

After talking to Jim McHugh -- who celebrated his birthday with us Saturday night -- make sure you keep Q923.net bookmarked for future trips. Let's just say with the new Vikings stadium opening next fall I gave him some ideas.
