Authorities arrested a woman in Georgia who did everything in her power to try and get some free Chick-fil-A, but failed.

The Rockmart Police arrested 47-year-old Kimberly George Ragsdale of Dallas, Georgia in the parking lot of a Chick-fil-A. According to the police report, she identified herself as a federal agent to the employees of the store, and said she should get free food.

When officers arrived, she told them the same thing, saying she was with the FBI. Officers said they asked for credentials, but she told them she didn't have any because it was all electronic now.

Officers got her out of her vehicle and placed her in handcuffs. On the way to the squad car, Ragsdale started talking into her shirt as if she was talking into a hidden radio. She said she was being arrested, and needed someone from the FBI to meet her at the Rockmart Police Department.

Rockmart Police Chief Randy Turner said Ragsdale had attempted to get free food multiple times that week, threatening to arrest employees if they didn't comply.

“We are thankful for the observant and professional staff at CFA who knew what to do and gathered the info needed for us to make our case and catch her in the act,” Turner said. “We would like to inform our citizens to call 911 if someone is claiming to be an officer if they aren’t in a marked car, or in a proper uniform, or if they don’t have the proper credentials.”

Turner also said a "real officer will never demand free food at a restaurant."

“If it is given, we appreciate it. If it is discounted, we appreciate it. We will not ask for it or make threats and demand it,” he said.
