Viral Music Superstar to Make Iowa City Stop

You may remember when he dazzled the entire world (and his local Walmart) with his yodeling skills. Mason Ramsey blew up on the internet in March of 2018 when he stopped by an Illinois Walmart and was recorded yodeling for his fellow shoppers.

He was affectionately named "yodeling kid" after the stunt went viral.

Once the video blew up online, the young boy started to use his newfound fame to propel his musical career forward. Just a few weeks after the video of Ramsey started trending, he ended up performing at Coachella.

In the same month, the Midwest native signed with Atlantic Records and Big Loud.

Then in 2019, he collaborated with Billy Ray Cyrus and Lil Nas X on a remix of the hit song "Old Town Road."  The lyric video has more than fifty million views on YouTube

"Yodeling Kid" Is Booked and Busy in 2024

But now the seventeen-year-old is entering a new chapter of his music career. Ramsey dropped a new EP in October of 2023 called 'Falls Into Place.' This collection of music consists of five new songs; including Next Right Thing.

To celebrate his latest music release, he is setting out on a tour in the spring aptly titled "Falls Into Place" that will take him all across the globe.

Right now, there are nineteen stops that the Illinois native will be making on his upcoming tour. He is set to kick off the set of shows at a European music festival called Country To Country (also known as C2C). Ramsey will be performing at the Rotterdam, Berlin, Glasgow, and London stops of the festival.

The viral sensation will celebrate his return to the United States in Boston on Wednesday, March 13th. He is expected to perform several Midwestern shows later on this spring.
