You’re Sleeping Wrong…
Apparently the most common way we hurt ourselves involves zero physical activity. You literally do it in your sleep! 41% of Americans sometimes have aches and pains from sleeping in a weird position, according to a new survey published in the New York Post.
Here are the top 10 things that make us feel achy:
1. Sleeping in the wrong position.
2. Doing laundry.
3. Heavy lifting.
4. Yard work or mowing the lawn.
5. Carrying groceries.
6. Sitting for too long.
7. Lifting or carrying your kids.
8. Sports-related injuries.
9. Injuries from working out.
10. Using the stairs.
It also found women are more likely to say they have daily aches and pains with 42% compared to just 28% of guys. So next time you have an achy neck or sore shoulder, it is likely because of the way you slept. However, it's still way more fun to tell people it's an old, nagging sports injury, right? Just hope they don't see this survey...
