56 New Foods Revealed For This Year's Iowa State Fair!

I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. I look forward to this list every summer. This week the Iowa State Fair announced its brand new menu items for 2018. There are 56 new creations in total, including some bold and fun twists on classic fair favorites, as well as some completely off-the-wall combinations, and a few that you'll likely let somebody else try first.

Of course, there are lots of deep-fried goodies and lots of stuff on sticks, but it's cool to see waffles invited to the party this year. I'll definitely be avoiding the pickle beer, though, thank you very much. And if you aren't sure what "Rocky Mountain Oysters" are...you should probably Google it first.
