A group of Arizona State University sorority girls are famous now. Why?

They were called out for taking tons of selfies during the Arizona Diamondbacks-Colorado Rockies game at Chase Field on Wednesday night.

A video posted on the Diamondbacks’ official Facebook page shows the unsuspecting girls spending two minutes pouting and posing with their hot dogs as two announcers mock them. “Help us, please, somebody help us. Can we do an intervention?“ one of them groans.

The video has since gone viral and the Internet seems divided between people who think the girls are ridiculous and those who think their behavior is perfectly acceptable.

I personally hate it when people go to sporting events and not watch the game.....that is literally the ONLY reason I am there. When I was doing "Thirsty Thursdays" at Riverfront Stadium for the Bucks this summer, the entire game was an endless stream of kids running around playing and............not watching the game. Are they worthy of ridicule too? No. There are people who go to sporting events and just want to have a good time, and a lot of times for people it's being seen and taking advantage of all the venue has to offer away from the field. It's not my thing, but as long as you're not bothering me you can do what you want.

If you consider it perfect ironic that the announcers -- who are paid to talk about the game -- are ignoring the game to goof on other people ignoring the same game, raise your hand.
