Eastern Iowa Corn Maze Sends Positive Message
Bloomsbury Farm in Atkins creates one-of-a-kind corn mazes every fall, but this year's edition isn't just fun and games--it has an extra-special meaning.
The massive 10-acre maze has an anti-bullying theme this year. The design reads "Bullying Hurts" and crosses out the word "bullying" in the center to recognize National Anti-Bullying Awareness Month. The message encourages that we practice kindness and compassion towards others and accept their differences.
Admission to the maze is $12 per person (age 3 and older), and the farm is donating a portion of the proceeds to Four Oaks, which helps children and families achieve stability and self-sufficiency.
Well done! The maze is open from 9:00am-5:00pm. Or, try out their Flashlight Maze Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:00pm! Find out more about Bloomsbury Farm here.
