Katy Perry Gets Super Inked

Katy Perry's Super Bowl halftime show was amazeballs as is, especially the dancing sharks. I want me one of those dancing shark outfits.

She brought Missy Elliot out, which was somewhat of a surprise.....not as surprising as her promised trolling of Taylor Swift, but still. It was an exciting night, so much so that Katy got a special tattoo to commemorate the occasion, and then Instagrammed all about it.

"I thought it would be appropriate to draw blood tonight… XLIX," Katy captioned the shot of herself going under the needle, grimacing slightly as the tattoo artist works on her hand. She then shared the finished product: The roman numerals 'XLIX' delicately inked in black on the inside of her ring finger. XLIX is the roman numeral for 49; yesterday was the 49th Super Bowl.
