In 2003, Kelis brought "all the boys to the yard" with her incredibly catchy song, "Milkshake."

The Grammy-nominated track, produced by The Neptunes (who were all over the charts at the time), was the third single from her album, Tasty, which was released on The Neptunes' Star Trak Entertainment imprint. The song peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remains Kelis' signature track, as well as her best charting single. The song also hit No. 1 on the Hot Dance Club Songs chart.

"I've known Pharrell since he was 15, and he wasn't 'Pharrell' at the time, he was just Pharrell," Kelis said in 2015 of her longtime collaboration with the super producer.

The concept for the Jaka Nava-directed video is what you'd expect, and showcases Kelis "milkshake" (both literally and figuratively) bringing all the boys to a local diner called Tasty's Yard. The singer prances around teases them with provocative dance moves and seductive straw-drinking.

One of the entranced onlookers is Kelis' ex, Nas, who also works in the diner as a cook. He stares longingly at Kelis while he tiredly rings up customers. Finally, he says forget it all, and lights a cigar while he watches her dance about. That can't be sanitary, but no one in the diner—which eventually becomes a full-on dance party—seems to care.

In case you were wondering what's in Kelis' actual milkshake, the singer, who's become a chef in the years since the video was released, shared the ingredients in a 2017 video in honor of National Chocolate Milkshake Day.
