Man Shoots Up Taco Bell…Because Of Hot Sauce

Greenup County, KY- An inmate escaped from jail and tried to hitch a ride...from a cop.
31-year-old Allen Lewis was being transferred to a different jail when he got loose from his handcuffs and fled on foot. Lewis made it all the way to a local highway and started hitchhiking.
A motorist stopped to check on Lewis. The man who picked him up just happened to be a campus police officer for nearby Morehead State University.
The officer noticed the handcuffs hanging off one of the suspect's wrists. Lewis was taken back to jail and faces an escape charge. [The Daily Independent]
Monroe County, FL- A fisherman reeled in a very expensive catch.
The man spotted a suspicious bale under a dock Saturday morning.
Police say the man pulled the package into his boat and he determined it was filled with an unidentified white powder.
Authorities discovered the bale contained roughly 60 pounds of what was suspected to be cocaine.
A police spokesman said that incidents like this happen "fairly regularly, about once or twice every year." [UPI]
Oklahoma City, OK- This dude took "hangry" to a whole new level.
A man picked up his order at a Taco Bell drive-thru just after 1:00 a.m. on New Year's Eve. He quickly returned to the restaurant, yelling that employees did not include taco sauce packets with his order.
The man was so mad about it that he pulled out a gun and opened fire. Employees locked themselves inside a bathroom.
At least two bullets struck the exterior of the building. Nobody was injured and cops are still trying to find the shooter. [The Smoking Gun]
