Exciting Celebrity Appearance at Iowa Grocery Store

Plenty of celebrities have called Iowa home at some point or another.

It seems strange to admit it, but many of Iowa's most notable actors end up being superheroes. Multiple people from the Hawkeye State have gone on to play Superman like George Reeves and Brandon Routh.

However, one super actor seems to stand out well above the rest.

Maybe it's because he's well over six feet tall...

Momoa is originally from Hawaii, but shortly after he was born his family picked up and moved to Norwalk, Iowa which is about twenty minutes away from Des Moines.

The star has made frequent appearances back here in the Hawkeye State. It seems like after the panic of COVID-19, Aquaman is stopping here a whole lot more. He's made visits to several different businesses by his hometown over the past two years.

One of them included a stop at a place called Tasty Tacos!

Now, he's flying back to Iowa to promote a project of his own!

Fareway Store officials announced that Khal Drogo himself will be dropping by one of their stores to promote a business he co-founded. The actor partnered with Blaine Halvorson to create Meili Vodka.

They will both be signing bottles at the Fareway in Norwalk this month!

The event is scheduled to take place on Monday, October 16th at 1711 Sunset Drive in Norwalk. Fans will only be able to meet the actor for a very short period of time. The 'Aquaman' star will only be doing autographs from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM that day.

We will be seeing more of Momoa's Aquaman in the upcoming DC film 'Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom' this year. The movie is set to premiere in theaters on December 20th.
