NE Iowa Trucker Hurt in Highway 20 Accident

An Earlville trucker has been injured in a one-vehicle accident in Delaware County.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, 54 year old Dale Schindler was driving a Freightliner semi, westbound on Highway 20 near Manchester Monday morning, when he lost control.

The truck went into the median, crossed into the eastbound lane, then rolled onto it's side in the ditch.

Schindler was taken to Mercy Hospital in Dyersville for treatment.

The State Patrol was assisted by the Delaware County Sheriff and Manchester Fire Department.
