We all have a story of an awful hangover we had to face over the holiday season. I for one remember telling myself  "I’m never drinking again," something we have all said at one time or another. But, if it were at all possible to instantly relieve the symptoms of a hangover, hypothetically, how much would you pay for an instant cure?

A survey of over 3,050 adults (aged 21+) by Rehabs.com, found that the average Iowan would pay $32 for a miraculous instant hangover cure, this is $10 less than the national average of $42.

Other states like Louisiana were willing to pay the most money at $83. While Maine seemed to not mind hangovers at all offering only $15 for said cure.

In a separate survey of 1,073 drinkers found that more than 1 in 10 (14%) drinkers say they expect to experience more hangovers this holiday season due to the challenging year 2020 has been. Which is no surprise seeing as though 2020 has offered countless different hardships to many Americans. It also showed that the most commonly attempted hangover cure for those surveyed was drinking water.

2020 has lead to many people having to work from home. 12% of drinkers admit to having missed an important work deadline or meeting due to a hangover. So for those working from home, while it may be tempting or sound like a great idea to set up office from bed for the day if you’re dealing with severe symptoms. remember it’s also easy to fall asleep on the job, this could lead to missed deadlines or meetings during your nap.
