Trampoline Park Soon To Open In Waterloo
This is awesome! An indoor trampoline park featuring wall-to-wall trampolines, slack line, foam pits and more, is set to open in the Cedar Valley later this year.
Get Air-Waterloo will take over the former site of Hobby Lobby on University Ave.
Ashton Goodell, media and marketing director for Get Air, tells The Courier that an official opening date has not been confirmed, but the park will most likely be ready by May or June.
Goodell says a person can burn about 1,100 calories per hour at the trampoline park.
“If you do it for an hour, you’ll understand,” Goodell said. “It’s just an awesome workout, low impact on your joints, something so many people can do.”
In addition to being a place for both parents and kids to enjoy, each facility typically employs about 35 to 45 people. Get Air will be hosting a job fair shortly before their grand opening.
There will also be designated play areas, so kids of all ages can have fun and explore. “It’s a popular idea that’s popping up across the nation,” Goodell said. “We really love to go to markets that have that need for family entertainment."
I think this is a GREAT addition to the area! Do you agree? Comment below.
