Cedar Valley United Way Golf Classic- June 18 – Register Today

Turns out...golf is the perfect pandemic sport. You can get outside, breath some fresh air, get in some exercise and most importantly, do all of that while you're social distancing. Over the past year, the sport of golf has seen a resurgence with more rounds played and booming equipment sales. Here's your chance to be part of the growing trend, while helping your community, get your four-some together and have fun playing golf for a great cause this summer.

The Cedar Valley United Way will host its 15^th Annual United Way Golf Classic, presented by Scheels, on Friday, June 18, at South Hills Golf Course in Waterloo. The proceeds will benefit the 2021 Cedar Valley United Way Campaign supporting local programs that focus on health, education, financial stability and emergency and basic needs.

Teams of four will play 18 holes with an 8-inch cup. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of each flight will win prizes consisting of golf bags, clubs, balls, or apparel. Additional flag events will be available for longest drive, closest to the pin, and longest putt.

This 4-person best shot tournament will have a 1pm shotgun start. Check-in and lunch begins at 11am. The cost is just $125-dollars per player, which includes greens and cart fees, lunch, dinner, a $50 Scheels gift card and chances to win thousands of dollars worth of prizes. That's is an OUTSTANDING deal for an afternoon of fun on the golf course.

Plus, make sure to purchase a "Super Ticket" for the chance to be one of five golfers to shoot for a $100,000 cash prize, the chance to putt for $1,000 cash, entry into all hole event contests and five raffle tickets. "Super Tickets" are $40 in advance and $50 at check-in.
