Lamont Woman Killed In Accident

A Lamont woman was killed when her car collided with a semi tractor-trailer in Delaware County.

Sheriff's officials identified the victim as 42-year-old Sara Kremer. Authorities said Kremer's westbound car pulled in front of the semi, which was going south. Both vehicles ended up in a ditch.

Authorities did not release the name of the semi driver, who was uninjured.

The crash happened around 7 PM Friday at the intersection of Iowa Highway 13 and Burrington Road, just south of Manchester.
