A two-vehicle accident in rural Black Hawk County injured three people.

Sheriff’s officials said 40-year-old Christopher Wygant of Independence, 47-year-old Clifton Waters of Waterloo and 28-year-old Terry Waters of Greenwood, Miss., all suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. They were transported to a Waterloo hospital for treatment.

The crash happened Thursday around 2:30 PM, about three miles northeast of Raymond. Authorities said a pick-up, driven by Clifton Waters, collided with a Spahn and Rose Lumber flatbed truck, driven by Wygant, collided at the uncontrolled intersection of Osage and South Pilot Grove Roads.

According to sheriff's officials, Terry Waters was a passenger in the pick-up.
