You Wouldn’t Guess This Is The Coldest City In Iowa
The weather has been really nice the past several days, but let's keep it real, this is Iowa. Winter could come back and bite us literally ANY time between now and April, and this Iowa city is more frigid than the rest.
That place would be...Cresco.
Located in Northern Iowa's Howard County, Cresco has the coldest average low temperature in the state at 33 degrees (and also the coolest high temperature, averaging 55).
But it does make for some beautiful photo opportunities:
Decorah was charted as the second-coldest city in Eastern Iowa, registering an average low of 36 and an average high of 58. Waterloo wasn't far behind with a low of 37 and a high of 58.
Seriously, can we just be done with winter already?
