A 25-year old college-educated man on Tinder has gotten over 1,000 right swipes, all while presenting his "dating" "profile" as a bagel.

People making fake profiles on social media is nothing new.

There are several people on Tinder who, for some reason or another, choose to personify food. Such as "Everything Bagel", who says he(?) is a 24-year old........would you be interested in a 24-year old food product?

It is revealed, however, that Bagelman is actually a graphic designer. He is single and has been on the dating app as a bagel for over a year, collecting more than 1,000 matches, and most of them talk to him, in character, as a bagel.

"I’ve let it go on for so long because it’s really entertaining to see how other people react to this type of thing," he explained.

Interestingly, Bagelman says it's unlikely he will ever make a real dating profile. "Even if I wanted to meet someone from the internet I feel like I probably have a better chance as the bagel," he explains. "It breaks the ice itself."

Something to think about when worrying about if the person you're talking to is "real" or not. A catfish bagel isn't very tasty.
