Nancheng, China- A woman went blind after playing a game on her smartphone for a full day straight.

21-year-old Wu Xiaojing spent the entire day of October 1st playing Honour of Kings, a multiplayer smartphone game.

Wu admitted to regularly playing the game for up to eight hours at a time without eating, drinking or going to the toilet. She claimed she'd usually get up around 6am, have breakfast, then play until 4pm. Then, Wu would eat something, take a nap, wake up and continue playing until 1:00 or 2:00am.

Wu was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with Retinal Artery Occlusion, which is caused by a blockage in one of the arteries that carry blood to the retina. Doctors say there's a chance she could be permanently blinded. [Mashable]

This is why you should only stare at your phone for 15 or 16 hours a day. Anything more than that is just ridiculous.

Clearwater, FL- A couple was arrested for getting it on at a BUS STOP.

31-year-old Cameron Peterson and 37-year-old Veronica Hutchinson were busted for partaking in "several sex acts in view of the public." The pair was at the bus stop last Thursday around 6:00pm when the mood struck.

Someone called the cops because the duo was getting cozy in FULL VIEW of a six-lane highway. According to police, Hutchinson was “sitting on the ground with her shorts below her knees” while being--ahem--serviced by Peterson.

Both were arrested for lewd and lascivious conduct. [The Smoking Gun]

This is still only the sixth-or-seventh-worst thing I've ever seen at a bus stop...

Johnson County, IA- A dude was busted for a bounty of bogus badges.

24-year-old Tyrone Smith of Cedar Rapids for was pulled over Sunday night for speeding. Police say Smith was driving a rental car that was reported stolen. Authorities searched the vehicle and found a bag filled with 112 fake IDs.

Smith has been charged with possession of a fictitious ID and could serve up to a year in jail. [CBS 2]
