Police Dog Fired After Donut Shop Incident

Renzo is a 4-year-old police dog in Coconut Creek, Florida. Renzo has been stripped of his badge after biting two people on the job.

But it’s hard to imagine Renzo wasn’t merely mimicking his bosses when, last week, he tore out of the squad car and into a doughnut shop, where he sunk his teeth into an employee’s calf. Renzo apparently became agitated when a police sergeant who’d met up with Renzo’s cop caretaker began petting the pooch. It was then that Renzo burst into the doughnut shop, where cops ultimately had to “pry“ him off Robert Doherty’s calf.

Doherty has since retained the services of an attorney. Because of course he has. No word on if Renzo can get any doggy desk duties at the stationhouse.
