College Student Hilariously Stuck Wearing Christmas Tree Costume Until The End Of Finals

Pearl City, HI- A man will probably be partying alone for a while...

61-year-old Don Little was hosting a party on Sunday. His roommate came home to join in but didn't bring any beer, so Little confronted him and stabbed him in the knee.

Officers said the victim sustained a 12-inch wound to his leg and was taken to the hospital. Little has been charged with ATTEMPTED MURDER. [Hawaii News Now]

North Lanarkshire, Scotland- An intruder stopped for a midnight snack...during a break-in.

The 46-year-old suspect found his way inside the home around 11:45 p.m. November 20th. The burglar allegedly raided the fridge and ate half a pie before passing out. Police responded and discovered the man still asleep...and covered in chip crumbs (so far, this just sounds like a typical weekend at my house).

Officers tweeted about the incident, joking that the suspect was no different than anyone else who felt tired starting a late shift at work. [BBC News]

I'd be so ticked off at this guy. Take all the stuff you want, but don't mess with my pie!

Tuscaloosa, AL- A college student probably regrets putting this out on social media.

20-year-old Kelsey Hall posted this picture on her Twitter account, claiming that she would wear a Christmas tree costume to class for the REST OF THE SEMESTER if she received 1,000 retweets.

Well, of course, Kelsey's tweet went viral and was retweeted more than 10,000 times within two days (it's currently at about 23,000). At least she's only stuck wearing the Christmas tree costume through the end of this week. And, Kelsey is (unintentionally) providing holiday cheer to lots of stressed out students preparing for finals, so good for her. [People]

Let this be a lesson to you. If you want a lot of retweets, just promise to do something embarrassing. Credit to her for following through on it.
