St. Petersburg, FL- A college mistakenly sent out hundreds of acceptance letters.

The University of South Florida-St.Petersburg says "human error" was responsible for acceptance emails being accidentally sent to 430 prospective students.

The applicants were sent another email an hour later telling them that there was an error in their system and to "disregard the previous email."

A University spokesperson said an employee didn't realize a spreadsheet of 680 names included students whose applications were accepted AND rejected.

The school is now in the process of reaching out to all students that received the incorrect email to discuss "possible pathways to admission in the future." [UPI]

Yeah, I don't think I'd be trying to go there anymore...

Officers responded to the scene of a hit-and-run crash last summer. A pickup driven by 28-year-old Katherine Schroder fled the scene before being stopped.

Police said a strong odor of alcohol was coming from the truck, and Schroder had bloodshot, watery eyes, struggled to roll down the window and placed the pickup in reverse instead of park.

Officers found a 2-year-old boy unrestrained in the back seat sitting on top of a case of beer near a loaded rifle. Two other unloaded firearms were also in the back seat. Schroder's blood alcohol content registered at .431, more than FIVE TIMES the legal limit.

Schroder was sentenced to 90 days in jail for child abuse, DUI, and leaving the scene of an accident. She was also placed on probation and must complete an alcohol treatment program. [Kearney Hub]

.431? I wouldn't be able to hold my keys, let alone actually drive a car.
