Peeps Oreos Are Making Tongues–And Toilets–Pink
I tried the Easter-inspired Peeps Oreos a few weeks back. I have to say...I'm grateful that I did not experience this side effect.
There have been many reports via social media that the creme filling changed consumers' tongues and saliva bright pink:
Or worse, a DIFFERENT kind of pink surprise:
Even though a nice, bright pink twosie would look a bit strange, it certainly shouldn't be that surprising. Anyone remember the Halloween Whopper that Burger King unveiled in 2015? My suggestion: Stick to the serving size and you--and your excretions--be fine. Wait--a serving size is only TWO cookies?! Umm, okay, forget I said anything.
