Wow. I bet this dude is REALLY fun at parties. This is "Crappy News" for Thursday, March 22nd.

Largo, FL- A police officer was fired after an embarrassing DUI.

A witness called the cops early Sunday morning to report a motorist driving a car in reverse and honking the horn. Officers arrived to find 41-year-old Lieutenant Christi Ruhtz inside the vehicle.

Police said Ruhtz's eyes were bloodshot and glassy, and she smelled of alcohol.

She performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and a breath test showed alcohol levels of 0.14 and 0.13. Ruhtz was immediately terminated following the arrest; she had been with the Sheriff's Office since 1998. [Tampa Bay Times]

Brimbank, Australia- Police have released video of a bungled break-in.

The footage, which was recorded by security cameras outside a cafe earlier this month, shows two males pulling up in a stolen vehicle.

Broken glass in car .

One of the suspects got out of the car and tried using a hammer to break the door of the cafe.

He was only able to make a small hole in the door, and it was taking too long to get inside, so the man eventually gave up and gets back into the car..but not before he asked his accomplice to help him open the door.

Police are still looking for the suspects. [UPI]

This guy clearly has an issue with doors. And committing crimes. But mostly doors.

The lottery game has been rechristened "Win Time" after criticism that the original name, "Luck Yeah," sounded too much like profanity. I'm not kidding.

At least one State official disapproved the phrase last month after it started showing up online and in television commercials.

The lottery director defended the ads, saying that the word "luck" is an inherent part of the business. He apologized if it was insensitive, but noted that the ad was designed to make viewers pay attention. Looks like it worked. [Yahoo News]

There's no need for an apology. Luck that guy if he can't appreciate a play on words.
