Taco Bell App Opens Overdraft Charge Buffet For Someone
Taco Bell was not healthy for this guy's bank account. This is why you need to check your balance daily!
A customer in Minnesota recently racked up $210 in overdraft fees after he made several trips to his local restaurant for orders placed through the fast-food chain’s mobile app.
The customer -- known only as S. -- says that rather than charge him after each visit, Taco Bell withdrew the money for 13 separate orders all on the same day.
The total was $124.35. With the $210 in overdraft fees, he found himself $334.35 short. S. admits that he is “partially at fault,“ but that he never expected such a delay in the withdrawal of funds.
Taco Bell to their credit felt really bad about it and has since refunded S. and provided him with a $50 gift card.
