Wedding Photographer Busted For Hooking Up On The Job
What a fun story to tell the grandkids someday... This is "Crappy News" for Thursday, November 29th.
Houston, TX- A group of crooks crawled through a restaurant this weekend. Seriously.
Three suspects smashed through the front window of Piggy's Kitchen and Bar early Sunday. What they did next has police doing a double-take.
Security video shows the trio crawling across the dining room floor on their stomachs. Restaurant staff has dubbed the suspects the "Inchworm Bandits." Managers said the thieves caused about $2,000 worth of damage and also stole about $450 in tip money.
Police suspect the thieves may be responsible for a similar crime at a pizza restaurant last week. [Click2Houston.com]
Hey, criminals need extra money for the holidays, too...right?
Dublin, Ireland- A soccer club faked the death of a team member to avoid playing a match.
Ballybrack FC reported that Fernando LaFuente had perished in a car accident Thursday night. As a result, Ballybrack's match was called off, and the league placed a death notice in a newspaper offering "heartfelt condolences" to his family and the team.
Stranger yet is that LaFuente didn't even know it was happening.
He said in an interview that the club contacted him last week to let him know he may hear reports he had been involved in an accident: "My work started sending me all these news articles - that's how I found out I was dead."
He also had to call his mother to let her know that he was, in fact, very much alive.
The league is investigating and announced tat it was discipline the team internally. [BBC Sports]
I guess you could say it was a GRAVE mistake.
Fort Worth, TX- I'm 100% sure this will NOT be happening at my wedding.
Police were called to the site of a wedding reception Saturday night.
26-year-old Katherine Leigh Mehta was caught having sex with one of the guests during the reception. Which might not have been a huge deal, except that she had been hired to PHOTOGRAPH the wedding.
She then went outside and peed on a tree. While on her way to jail, Mehta shouted death threats at police. Officers found a bottle of prescription anti-anxiety pills in her possession, which they believe she mixed with alcohol.
Mehta was arrested for public intoxication and obstruction. [Fort Worth Star-Telegram]
Normally, you'd expect a wedding crasher to be a random person, not someone who's PAID to be there.
